About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will be responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing behavior intervention plans to support individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, or behavioral challenges. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to create positive behavioral outcomes and promote independence.

Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and analyze behavioral data.
-Develop, implement, and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on evidence-based practices.
-Provide direct supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other support staff.
-Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent implementation of interventions.
-Monitor client progress, adjust treatment strategies as needed, and document sessions according to industry standards.
-Provide parent training and support to improve carryover of behavioral strategies in home and community settings.
-Maintain compliance with ethical guidelines and best practices set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Requirements

Educational Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field.

  • Completion of a behavior analysis program that is accredited by the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) or meets the coursework requirements set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Certification Requirements
  • Pass the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) examination administered by the BACB.

  • Maintain certification through continuing education and adherence to the BACB's ethical guidelines.

  • State Licensure Required

Experience Requirements
  • Supervised experience in behavior analysis, typically requiring a minimum of 1,500 hours of direct supervised experience.

  • Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is often preferred.

Skills and Competencies
  • Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and techniques.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

  • Skills in data collection and analysis to assess client progress.
